Welcome to Monkey Puzzle

Hello. I am Arlind and I am the owner of Monkey Puzzle Sevenoaks. My team is dedicated to giving every child the best start in life by caring for and supporting them to play, learn and grow in a positive and stimulating nursery environment.

We would love to welcome you for a personal tour of our beautiful new nursery in Sevenoaks, where you can discover more about the exciting days your child can look forward to with our Early Years expert team. Monkey Puzzle Sevenoaks takes a holistic approach to learning guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS). Our team inspire through excellence in Early Years education placing the development and needs of the children we care for at the heart of everything we do. Nursery and preschool is a time when a child learns about themselves as much as the world around them. We enable this through the magic of learning through play and encouraging curiosity that stimulates the mind and body of children.

Healthy Eating

As children grow, a healthy and balanced diet is key, and we inspire with a variety of colour, texture, and taste to expand their food experiences.

Seasonal and local produce are also important in helping children understand more about where food comes from and nutrition.

This weeks curiosity cube is inspired by Roald Dahl. We have been using our cube to spark up questions, delve into our imaginations and generate our thoughts into a curious world. We have also been sharing some of our favourite stories and pictures from his very special books, then designing some of our own characters!

I wonder where our activity challenge will take us today?

Today it was down to Cec and Grace to get creative, they picked an intent for their activity set up based around their key children's interest and then got to work!

Cec created an activity focusing on sharing, emotions, looking at our own reflections and beginning to understand our feelings. She created this through an array of resources and one of our favourite stories.

Grace brought her activity to life as she focused on mark making but through her key child's interest of dance, music and drawing.

We think they both done a brilliant job and so did the children as they delved into explore!

Welcome to our Monkey Puzzle Flower Shop, this week we have had a plant-tastic week filled with creative fun, testing our senses and mark making with lots of different materials.

We have also extended our learning through various activities such as: exploring on our Bug Hunt, printing with leaves, searching through crazy foam to match the shapes, discussing different adventures we have been on and much more!

How To Find Monkey Puzzle Sevenoaks

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sevenoaks, is proudly located in the heart of Sevenoaks in the TN13 postal sector. The nursery is on Amherst hill, just down the road from the Riverhead Village Hall. Sevenoaks Railway Station is a 15 minute walk away and a short drive from the M25, A25 and the Sevenoaks Bypass (A21). 

Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm

Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
