Last Friday we had our first inset day of the year. We had some fantastic training delivered on progression of children’s development, ofstead preparations and the zone of proximal development. This week Explorers have been exploring their new bug hunt book. They enjoyed going on a trip to Chipstead common for a bug hunt story session. The babies enjoyed looking through the magnifying glasses at all of the bugs they could find. Explorers are focusing on this book as their story of the month and have made beautiful display boards, activities to explore and also using this story as inspiration for their dress up day next week.
Next Thursday we will all be celebrating World Book day along with our sponsored read and dress up day!
