How To Find Monkey Puzzle Sevenoaks
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sevenoaks, is proudly located in the heart of Sevenoaks in the TN13 postal sector. The nursery is on Amherst hill, just down the road from the Riverhead Village Hall. Sevenoaks Railway Station is a 15 minute walk away and a short drive from the M25, A25 and the Sevenoaks Bypass (A21).
Opening times: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between
Christmas and New Year)
🦆 Our trip to the local Duck Pond 🦆
Yesterday we popped on our wellie boots and took a walk to the Duck pond, we talked lots along on our way about crossing the road safely and keeping safe around the pond. We also saw lots of different people doing very exciting occupations on our way which sparked lots of conversations around Postal workers, builders and landscapers.
Once we arrived we had lots of fun spotting the Ducks, feeding them oats and peas, using our binoculars to search for birds in the trees and doing a vehicle checklist to remember what we saw on our way.
What a quacking trip we had😀🦆

This weeks extended learning outing was to support our new role play theme. Investigators have been loving the home corner this month so they decided in this snowy weather it would be the perfect opportunity to transform their role play into a Hot Chocolate Shop.
They have been busy designing beautiful art work to go on to their display, following recipe cards to create their own hot drinks and acting out coffee shop play.
Their final piece to their area was to take a trip to one of our local coffee shops to see them in action and purchase some cups ready to bring back to Nursery ready for them to try!

Snow day ❄️ ⛄️
Today we was very excited to wrap up warm and go outside, we had an amazing time exploring the snow and ice, making snow angels and experimenting on how we could make some of the ice melt.

A weekly round-up of some of the fun we have been having this week!
We have been keeping physically active out in the garden and practising our balance skills as we challenge ourselves during an obstacle course.
We have been getting in the festive spirit as we decorate our room ready for our Christmas party and begin our Christmas crafts, we even played a game of Christmas snap!
We have had a jam packed week full of learning and playing and exploring in different activities and testing our fine motor skills.
